This week is National Careers Week and at Into the Blue we’re proud to help start professional careers. Three of our Isle of Wight based employees started their professional careers with us at Into the Blue and we’re proud to see them flourish and work at events across the globe.

During this time she worked on our Volvo Car UK account to deliver their Sailing Academies project, whilst also managing their fleet of 86 sponsorship vehicles. Cowes Week 2016
We asked the team…
What has been the highlight of your role so far?
Gabby: All of the fantastic events I have had the pleasure to work on and clients I have built relationships with; I have met some great people along the way.
Emma: Working across a number of high profile clients has really broadened my knowledge and skill set. Plus, to be able to have a graduate role in a leading agency where I live allows me to have a fantastic work/life balance.
Joe: Working with the team to deliver Volvo’s sponsorship activation of Dartmouth Regatta last summer was hard work, but good fun!
2016 UK Sponsorship Awards
What would be your advice for young people interested in work experience?
Gabby: I learnt so much invaluable experience during my placement year. The working environment allows you to continuously learn and to be able to do it on the Island is incredible. We have an amazing life/work balance; when you can go for a SUP after work you know you are very lucky!
Emma: Definitely go and find yourself something! Make yourself stand out and always have a ‘can do’ attitude.
Joe: Go and get it! Find where you want to go and make the effort to get your own experience.
Post work wakeboarding!
