We are well known for our events expertise, so when we were asked to deliver two major events in the space of a week, we relished the opportunity.
On the Tuesday, we delivered the launch of major investment plans for Fawley Waterside Development to celebrate the plans to transform a rich part of our industrial heritage into a thriving residential and commercial waterside community. Fawley Waterside Development are passionate about the long-term prosperity of the southern waterside and envisage a new settlement that respects the natural beauty and importance of New Forest - our objectives were to ensure we delivered a smooth-running event to convey these messages.
Over 150 delegates attended the event, with speakers, panelists, exhibition stalls, tours of site and a three-course lunch. We transformed the empty space that had formerly been used as a control room into a room fit to host the guests.
We then delivered an event for our long-standing client MHI Vestas Offshore Wind the following day - a ground-breaking ceremony marking the first dig of their new blade painting and logistics facility. The new facility is the latest in a series of manufacturing investments made by MHI Vestas Offshore Wind as part of their comprehensive industrialisation strategy underway in the UK and will complement their advanced manufacturing facility on the Isle of Wight where the blades are manufactured.
Into the Blue managed the event set-up, logistics and public relations – delivering not only a successful event, but securing positive coverage for MHI Vestas Offshore Wind in national newspapers, BBC South Today and in a range of local, regional and specialist media outlets.
Fellow long-standing client UKSA have been celebrating 30 years of excellence in 2017. We were delighted to offer our support to the UKSA team at a high-profile event in London, attended by their Charity Patron HRH Princess Royal, to celebrate the milestone. Key members of the media attended and enjoyed speeches from HRH Princess Royal and UKSA's CEO Ben Willows, giving them the chance to learn more about UKSA's exciting plans for the future.
We continue to provide PR support to Spinlock, as they enjoy a fantastically busy and successful year. Our role is to provide media management at events, sell-in stories to key media on their behalf, and pro-actively seek coverage using our extensive network of contacts in the media. Throughout 2017 we have secured coverage in local, regional and specialist outlets to best reflect the key objectives of Spinlock's overarching business plans. 2018 sees the 50th anniversary of Spinlock and we look forward to helping them celebrate!
We are pleased to be working with the amazing Eroica Britannia, a festival of vintage cycling in the Peak District. We have created a new ticketing system, launched the event and sold an impressive number of tickets. We have been managing the social media campaign, and pulling together a communications strategy. We highly recommend this spectacular award winning event to anyone who loves vintage, style and cycling. It is the World's Most Handsome Bike Ride, and tickets are onsale now. We recommend you buy before they sell out!
