Into the Blue was tasked with refreshing longstanding client, The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust’s fundraising video.
The brief was to create a short, impactful video that uses emotion and empathy to cut through, connect with its audience and powerfully show the effects of cancer that the Trust deal with on a daily basis.
Into the Blue spent three days at home with the Skepelhorn’s, carefully getting to know the family and researching the effects of their daughter Daisy’s cancer and how the Trust helped her recovery.
To launch the video, Into the Blue created a social media campaign to complement the video. On December 1st 2014, Daisy’s birthday, the video was launched with the #LoveSupport asking supporters of the Trust to spread the word. The video received 1000 likes in the first 24 hours and tweets from hundreds of followers.
