Travis Perkins plc are an Official Partner of the America’s Cup World Series – Portsmouth.
The company, known as one of the UK’s largest suppliers of building materials and services, sponsors the Accessible Platform and ramps at the Race Village on Southsea Common, providing access and excellent viewing for disabled visitors.
As part of their sponsorship of the America’s Cup World Series – Portsmouth, they also fund the Portsmouth Sailing Project, operated by the 1851 Trust and the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation, aiming to get 1,000 young people out sailing during the summer.
For the 2015 America’s Cup World Series Portsmouth, Into the Blue were asked to focus on brand awareness and to introduce Travis Perkins plc customers to sailing through activation of existing social media channels with bespoke content, including imagery, posts and some short videos posted each day from the event.
The ITB team worked with Travis Perkins plc at the event to create lighthearted video clips, pictures and posts from the event venue, as well as creating PR opportunities and securing media interviews for media and local radio.
