As part of Volvo Car UK’s continued sponsorship of the British Sailing Team, Into the Blue managed the organization of two Volvo Pride Days for the Podium and Potential Podium squad members.
The purpose of the event was to allow everyone connected with the Volvo sponsorship to obtain a complete understanding of the brand offering them the full Volvo experience so that, as ambassadors, they could use their vehicles to their full potential and pass on the Volvo message.
Hosted by Affinity, each day consisted of two internal sessions that highlighted Volvo’s three core brand values: quality, safety and environmental responsibility as well as three external driving activities that showcased Volvo’s newest and most high profile products across the range and focused on Volvo’s extended brand values of performance, style and lifestyle. The activities required the team members to interact with the range and each other to complete tasks resulting in a thoroughly enjoyable and informative day.
Across the two days over one hundred individuals involved in Volvo’s sponsorship of the British Sailing Team were impacted with positive results from the event. Evidence of this was immediate with ambassadors taking a more active role in the brand by generating interaction through various communication channels.
