Former ISAF Female World Sailor of the year, Shirley Robertson OBE is well known for being one of Britain’s most successful Olympic athletes. Shirley made it into the history books by becoming the first British woman to win two Olympic Gold medals at consecutive games, Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004. Since then, Shirley has competed in big boat sailing, including as a skipper in the Extreme Sailing Series, was an athlete delegate for the successful London 2012 Olympic bid and, more recently, has formed a successful career as a public speaker and TV presenter. Into the Blue have represented Shirley and helped manage her commercial interests.
