SOS is a cutting edge innovative start up, based in the USA and New Zealand. Founded by two brothers with a history of competitive running and a doctor. The product itself is based on 50 years research by the World Health Organisation.

THE CHALLENGE

Into the Blue were contacted by SOS to activate PR around their UK launch early 2014. Activity included pro-active sell in to a targeted list of media utilising Into the Blue’s vast number of media contacts.

The RESULT

In addition we produced the press packs and story leads and attended the event to manage the press, brand ambassadors and interview schedule. The priority was for SOS to receive maximum impact within UK media, following the success of the product launch in the US and New Zealand. The short timescales involved and the multiple time zones of the SOS team added to the challenge, as did working with other agencies, suppliers and distributors. Good communication enabled all stakeholders to work efficiently together to deliver this project. Into the blue held a successful press launch for SOS in the UK. A wide variety of national media spanning the sporting, lifestyle, business and drinks industry press attended including the BBC, Sports Business International, Drinks Innovation and Men’s Running.
